At Brisbane Electrical and Airconditioning (BEA) we pride ourselves on communicating with our customers to get them the best result. This includes our valued commercial air-conditioning customers.
Whether you are an architect, café owner or retail store, we can provide you with a number of options to help you choose your next air conditioner. We provide new installation and replacement services to commercial operations.
When choosing a new air conditioner there are 3 things most businesses want to know:
- How much will it cost?
- Do I need a ducted or split system?
- Which are the best brands for the best price?
Cost – Save Money Today and Tomorrow
When it comes to air conditioners, paying less now may cost you more in the long run. However, just because an air conditioner is expensive doesn’t mean it’s the best. At BEA we have worked with a lot of air conditioners, so we know which ones we’re willing to stake our reputation on. We’ll even show you the upfront and ongoing difference in price for our recommended units so you know how much you can save over the coming years.
Split System or Ducted Air Conditioning?
There are many reasons to choose a particular air conditioner type over another.
Split system air conditioners are quite easy to install and are generally cheaper than ducted air conditioners. However, unlike ducted air conditioners, a split system air conditioner is designed to cool or heat a single room – such as a small/medium sized office or meeting room.
So if you only need to cool a small area, such as a site office, or if your workspace is made up of multiple offices across several locations, you may want to choose a split system.
If you have a large open-plan office and want to use a split-system air conditioner, you may need to install several to get adequate temperature control.
A ducted air conditioner can control the temperature of an entire office or business through a single unit that delivers air through a series of ducts that are hidden away in the ceiling. The only visible signs of ducted air conditioning in an office space are the actual wall panels where air flows. Whereas, a split system air conditioner requires an internal unit that is mounted to the wall.
If you have a large open area that requires overall temperature control, then you may want to choose ducted air conditioning.
By asking you a few questions, a BEA technician will very quickly be able to give you an idea of which would suit you best and the cost to install.
When we recommend an air conditioner our reputation is on the line. That’s why we only recommend brands we trust. We supply and install leading brands such as:
- Mitsubishi Electric
More importantly, we have access to trade sales, which means we can get top brand-name air conditioners at a substantial discount for our customers.
